Alki Beach is one of my favorite spots in our West Seattle neighborhood. Known for the only sandy stretch of beach in Seattle, a boardwalk, and gorgeous views of the Seattle city skyline; it tends towards a California vibe with summer weekend volleyball tournaments, sunset beach bonfires and coastal beach boutiques.

Just around the bend from the main stretch of Alki the crowds dwindle a bit (especially in summer when Alki can get PACKED) and the less crowded path is perfect for a romp, walk or jog. Marination Ma Kai, one of my favorite Seattle restaurants is on this stretch and I highly recommend the sexy tofu tacos or pretty much anything on their menu for some delicious Hawaiian-Korean cuisine. A perfect spot as a break or destination.

For a recent jaunt to Alki Beach I grabbed my favorite and oh-so-comfortable Aritzia jumpsuit from my closet (sold out, similar). I truly believe jumpsuits are the perfect alternative to a dress or any kind of decision related to matching or not matching; just accessorize and you're good to go.

I continue to add jumpsuits and rompers to my wardrobe and find that each one gets a ridiculous amount of use. They're also great for layering over a tee or sweater as the weather cools. Also, is anyone else as addicted to Aritzia as I am?!

Seriously I could outfit my entire wardrobe from this store. I adore Aritzia . . . my bank account not so much LOL.

To accessorize my jumpsuit, I added a gorgeous layered statement necklace from 7 Charming Sisters, my new favorite destination for jewelry.

"We've created a series of seven different lines of jewelry, each catering to different tastes and occasions. No matter who you are or where the day takes you, 7 Charming Sisters has something perfect for your unique style."

With seven different lines of jewelry, each catering to different tastes and occasions, it's super easy to find a style to fit any occasion. There's even a quiz to match your personality with a style. This necklace and these earrings are currently sitting in my shopping cart. What do you think? Should I push purchase?!

For shoes, I wore these sweet Target dv Kenli Perforated Mule Booties that quickly became a favorite and are uber comfortable (and less than $35!) and a Forever 21 cardigan sweater I've had "forever" that is the perfect lighweight option for a light breeze by the water or for as it cools in the evening. I also am huge into tying it around my waist as a belt alternative and way to "define" my waist (and hands free!).

My bag of choice was the mywalit verona backpack that fits all the essentials and is buttery soft. I am a big fan of mywalit bags (see previous post featuring mywalit here.) and love all the color combos they come in.

"mywalit is an Italian brand of designer leather wallets, bags, coin purses and handbags.
It was founded in 2005, in Lucca, Italy, when the first shop was created in the old Roman
Amphitheatre, at the heart of the cosmopolitan shopping district of this historic town of Tuscany"

Every bag is just perfect for adding a pop of color to any outfit.

The mywalit double flap purse/wallet is my summer go-to and I just love the California and West Coast vibes of brown, blue and golden. These made in Italy bags are classic, colorful, well made and sure to quickly become a closet favorite (I know mine have!).

My final outfit detail was the addition of my Timex Originals Watch. I love the playfulness of the shimmering polka dot pattern on the navy leather strap; adding a little fun to the elegant gold-tone case.

~ the Timex story

I have recently returned to the art of wearing a timepiece after years of using my iPhone to check the time. There is something so romantic and timeless about wearing a watch and I love how chic and classic Timex pieces make me feel when wearing them and of course for always being fashionably on time.

Happy Summer Days from Alki Beach in Seattle!
xoxo
