Phillip Lim of 3.1 Phillip Lim is one of my favorite designers! When the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target collaboration launched I may have gone just a bit crazy (as in convincing myself the purchase of 4 handbags from the collection was at the top of my to do list). So you can imagine my gasp when I spied this gorgeous 3.1 Phillip Lim silk dress hanging ever so gracefully at Seattle Goodwill. The perfect silk dress for Spring days!
One reason I love thrifting is finding pieces from past designer collections I may have missed (like this dress!). Maybe it wasn't available nearby, out of my price range, and/or sold out before I could snag, whatever the reason, a thrift store always holds that glimmer of hope for finding those long lost (but ever so desired) pieces to add to my closet.
This silk dress by 3.1 Phillip Lim I scored at Seattle Goodwill is definitely one of those treasures! I plan to wear it all spring and summer long. First with booties for Spring and later, as the days heat up, with sandals. Perhaps even a Summer wedding? I have two weddings to attend this Summer, one in North Carolina and one in Michigan, and just might have to add this dress to the considerations. Always love a good thrift find!
