And it's here! The Altuzarra for Target Collaboration has launched!

I stopped by the Seattle City Target yesterday (on the day of release) to check out the goods. I had planned to only shop this collection online at lanch, but promptly fell asleep at 11pm (grrrr), and then of course, we slept through our alarm.  When I checked the Target website when I finally woke up (tired was I) everything was still available, so I decided to chance it and try instore. My BF and I finally made it to Target at 10.30am. Having just moved from the Bay Area in California, I expected it to be fully picked through. But to my surprise the area was empty and everything was available in all sizes!!! Yes!!! For the first time, I had my choice of Anything and Everything! Fashionista in heaven!

I quickly grabbed the Crane Sweater, Crane Dress, Belts in Brown & Black, Black Dot Dress, and Blue/White Shirt Dress. Unfortunately the 2 items I had intended to purchase (crane sweater & dress) did not fit. I was right between sizes in the crane dress (I found this to run very small on the bottom portion. The 2 fit on top, the 4 on the bottom), and the XS in the sweater was swimming on me. Luckily a few items that were 2nd tier on my Wishlist fit perfect!

J'adore le Black Swiss Dot Peasant Dress, Blue/White Shirt Dress, and Black Faux Crock belt! All of which I went home with.

I am still contemplating a few items. The scarfs (not available where I went), Red Dress with Embroidery (I'm not sure why I didn't try this on!), Sheer Peasant Blouse w/ embroidery (again, why didn't I try this on?!), and Boots may all be revisited. I would have definitely grabbed a trench coat (gorgeous!), if I didn't already have a rediculous amount of trenches.

This collaboration is just gorgeous! This is definitely a hit (and not a miss) designer collaboration. Many items are still available online at Target and a few via Net-a-Porter. Returns are limited to 14 days, so my guess is this collaboration won't be available long. It's well worth checking out in person. Beautiful materials, intricate details, and most items look much more expensive than they are (everything in the collection is under $100!).

What are your favorite pieces from the collection? Do you think this is a Hit Designer Collaboration?
