Ooh how I adore a good macaron.
When i first discovered this little gem of a cookie, I could not believe I did not know about this French confectionary sooner. why had i not traveled to Paris for my new favorite sweet?! Because we all know of my serious wanderlust. Why oh why had years of my life gone by without trying their deliciousness?!!
Upon meeting, however, I instantly fell in love with the macaron. and our love affair has outlasted many apartments, boyfriends, and moves across the country. I admit. I am in love with the macaron!
So you can imagine my enthusiasm when MacarOn Cafe sent me this lovely luxury box* filled with 6 macarons. With a Flagship cafe on third avenue, and 3 additional locations in New York City, I am already planning my visit for the next time I'm in the Big Apple. However, what makes my day (and probably yours) is that they ship their lovely delicious macarons nationwide (US and Canada). Perfecto!
With fast shipping, the macarons arrived fresh and just as lovely as I imagine them looking in the displays of MacarOn Cafe in New York City. I could barely resist eating them as a I snapped a few photos. but the restraint was well worth the wait, because yes, they do taste as delicious as they look! Established to pay homage to this delicate french confectioney, MacarOn Cafe has been recognized as the connoisseurs of this delicious pastry. and I agree!
Perfect as a gift for bridesmaids, a sister's birthday or treat for yourself; I know I am already dropping boxes of macarons in my shopping cart on macaroncafe.com, particularly for that coconut macaron.
