One of my favorite times of year to live in Washington State is Spring! The sun begins to appear after days of gray and rain, and with that the gorgeous blooms of flowers! Each Spring the Skagit Valley becomes a Pacific Northwest destination-must, as thousands flock to see the fields upon fields of tulips in every color imaginable. This year I joined Chooka and Western Chief Rain Boot brands of Washington Shoe Company on a Tulip Tour for a perfect Spring Saturday in Skagit Valley to celebrate their 125 year anniversary in the PNW!
Alongside other fashion and lifestyle Seattle bloggers, we tromped through the blooming tulip fields in our Chooka and Western Chief rain boots and enjoyed a day of glorious sunshine in the valley. I am seriously in love with these Chooka Boots. I have another pair of rain boots that hit almost to my knee, and as someone who is petite at 5"4' on a good day, they have always been more of a challenge to walk in than a benefit to avoid/splash through the mud puddles. However, these mid height boots by Chooka are oh so comfortable, not to clunky for us petites, waterproof (essential!) and so chic (I even spotted them in the April Seattle Magazine!). And they are also just perfect for a summer music festival, hello Sasquatch, Outside Lands and Capitol Hill Block Party!

I sipped rose, which was just right on a bright sunshine day, and enjoyed conversation with other Bloggers. It was the perfect day and I already can't wait to head back to the Skagit Valley Tulip Fields next year!
