End of summer days call for bright pops of color and neutrals, fashionable sunglasses, vintage wash ripped jeans and a fun bag to fit all the day's needs. As the weather slowly (quickly?) shifts to perfect denim days and light breezes from off the sound, I find myself wanting to soak in all the last of the Seattle summer sunshine I can get.

I am generally not one to wear red or loud tops, but there's just something about these end of summer days that have me gravitating towards clothing items that are just a bit louder, just a bit wilder and just a bit brighter before fall kicks in.  Some even consider red a neutral, making red the perfect bold, flattering and exciting shade to wear for end of summer days.

A recent afternoon found me strolling through Seattle wearing my Cop. Copine U.S. Manga Top and favorite Distressed Skinny Jeans, styled with my IZIPIZI #SUN NAUTIC Sunglasses, Minor History Half Moon Double Sided Tote, an-oh-so Classic Watch and go-to Black Pumps.

This red geometric top from Cop. Copine U.S. immediately caught my eye. I love the architectural detailing of the print and the pop of red is perfect for brightening up as the scent of fall begins to linger in the air in these end of summer days. By keeping the rest of my outfit leaning towards neutrals and classics, this bright red top doesn't seem too loud and becomes the perfect pairing.

Cop. Copine U.S. launched its first stand alone boutique in Union Square in San Francisco in 2009. Inspired by Cop. Copine Paris, "a creative impetus of over 30 years", Cop. Copine U.S. produces a clothing line of the highest quality. 95% of the design and manufacturing takes place in Europe with the utmost attention to detail and fabrics chosen.

"Cop. Copine U.S. brings unmistakable cutting edge and urban style to the independent woman. Season after season, our clients have become veritable fans who patiently anticipate the launch of a new collection."

Also I am all about distressed jeans in a vintage wash for transitioning to fall. The Sheridan Skinnies from Jag Jeans have been a closet favorite since last spring (also featured here) when I discovered them at the Denim Fit Lab. These perfect fitting jeans are so on trend, with just the right amount of stretch, a vintage wash, perfect distressing and a mid-rise fit. Denim for days!

Sunglasses are essential for both sunny and cloudy days in Seattle and the IZIPIZI #SUN NAUTIC Sunglasses in white with polarized lenses are my new obsession. Fashionable sun and reading glasses from Paris, IZIPIZI sunglasses, launched in 2011, are high quality, affordable frames that come in a wide range of colors and designs to mix and match depending on the occasion.

"Discover Izipizi and its last innovative & colorful design glasses, accessible to all. "It was a coincidental meeting halfway around the world that sparked the idea for Daniel Wellington. On this trip, our founder Filip Tysander met an intriguing British gentleman with impeccable yet unpretentious style. The man had a particular fondness for wearing his vintage watches on old, weathered NATO straps. His name? Daniel Wellington."

A recent fondness for a return to timepieces over the iphone for telling time has led me to grow my watch collection. The Daniel Wellington Classic Sheffield Watch is a recent addition and also a timepiece I know will become a classic in my collection. Carefully designed, this oh so classic watch of effortless beauty is perfect all occasions; from neighborhood walks to games of bocce ball to attending to fashion shows to sunny days at Alki Beach, the Sheffield is the perfect companion.

"With leather darker than the deepest parts of the ocean, the Classic Sheffield was carefully designed to stand the test of time while maintaining its effortless beauty. This minimalistic piece proves that simple does not necessarily mean boring."

Sometimes you discover a new brand and you immediately fall in love and want everything they have available to fill your closet. This happened immediately upon my discovery of Minor History via Instagram. Launched in 2015 by New York-based design collective Aesthetic Movement, Minor History creates beautiful and functional bags and is also committed to supporting the arts, such an important mission! 5% of Minor History’s profits are donated to the Arts Action Fund, a non-profit focused on building an army of arts advocates.

"Unfussy, beautiful, and functional, Minor History leather goods take on the history of the person who wears them, by becoming a favorite piece, used daily, and broken in over time . . . Minor History is inspired by art and individual expression, both past and present."

A distinct take on a classic, I absolutely adore my Minor History Half Moon Double Sided Tote. With one interior pocket and 2 seperate round bottom accordion compartments, each with a snap closure, this tote bag is simply stunning. Well made, incredibly roomy and pretty much perfect for pairing with everything in my closet. J'adore!

  2. It is quite hectic to dress in layers whenever I prepare for my self in winters. I always try to keep my clothing to minimum and warm.
