My favorite way to spend a free day? I pick a Seattle neighborhood I love and spend the day exploring new spots and visiting my favorites. Georgetown in Seattle is one neighborhood I love to visit often. Just south of downtown, this industrial chic neighborhood is filled with hip and underrated restaurants, the cutest shops (there's a trailer park mall!), one of my favorite coffee shops in the City and a fantastic record store perfect for digging through stacks of vinyl.

I like to start my Georgetown visit with a coffee from All City Coffee
and I usually bring a magazine from home to read, outside if it's nice
or inside if it's raining. My current magazine favorite? Porter Magazine
by NET-A-PORTER is seriously so good! Each issue is a dream world I
want to be a part of, each piece of clothing featured oh so beautiful,
each image stunning and the writing is so on point.
We are still feeling the chill in Seattle, even though the sun is
FINALLY shining and it is definitely feeling like spring! As such,
layering is still essential. I've been trying
to find new and unique ways to layer and for my day in Georgetown chose
to style a dress I typically only wear in summer over a super soft and
warm turtleneck sweater in a
similar tan shade. Tans, reds and pinks inspired this outfit and my red
Maison E. Goyard bag and pink mywalit Medium Matinee Purse proved the perfect accessories
to style with, because it really is all
in the details.
After
coffee, I head to Georgetown Records in search of Crosby, Stills and
Nash, Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon (and
Garfunkel) and Van Morrison vinyl. I then head to the Georgetown Trailer
Park Mall, if it's the weekend, for fabulous one of a kind art and
vintage finds. Following shopping, always on the agenda is a stop at the
Hangar Cafe for crepes, before heading home.
Have a fantastic weekend! Any fun plans?
