Welcome Saks Off 5th to Seattle!

Welcome Saks Off 5th to Seattle!
When I lived in Half Moon Bay, on the California coast just outside San Francisco, I would often drive over the "hill" (aka Highway 92) for sunshine and shopping. When the coast was fogged in, I could count on San Jose to still be hot and sunny pretty much all the time. I could also count on San Jose for a Saks OFF 5TH!

I love that Saks OFF 5TH offers great designer fashion at great prices. Some of my favorite closet pieces are from Saks OFF 5TH include a Mar Y Sol Tote I found for almost 50% off I plan to take along on our honeymoon (we're planning it right now!) and a pair of blue slide sandals that are summer favorites.

So you can imagine my excitement upon learning that a Saks Off 5TH would be opening it's first Seattle location in my now-current backyard of downtown Seattle. I had the opportunity to attend the VIP Grand Opening Party, the night before the official opening, and I hardly left empty handed.

The new, approximately 36,000 square foot Saks OFF 5TH is stocked with more than 800 designer brands and an ever-evolving selection of luxury designer fashion, accessories, and of course shoes! I managed to score a See By Chloe mini Polly bag (that can transform into a belt bag!) and Saks Fifth Avenue Fabia Slides; my closet is so happy!

The new Saks OFF 5TH is located in downtown Seattle, Washington at 400 Pine Street on level 3 in Westlake Center and is now open! Happy Shopping!

Warby Parker Capitol Hill Seattle Store Grand Opening

Welcome Warby Parker to Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood! On Saturday, October 14 the doors of Warby Parker's third store here in Seattle will open, joining Warby Parker Writer’s Block in Fremont and the University Village location and you're invited to the Grand Opening (details below)!

At the new Capitol Hill location, you'll find wooden shelving and full-length mirrors, as well as custom artwork of some seriously colorful critters from the award-winning, Seattle-based studio Invisible Creature (I hear it makes an excellent selfie backdrop!).

To celebrate the new space, Warby Parker will be stocking the store with their Topper sunglasses in Jet Black Matte with Flash Mirrored Silver lenses. These rounded frames are inflected with a few dashing angles and exclusive to the Capitol Hill store.

Other items available at the new store will include books sourced from some of Warby Parker's favorite independent publishers like McSweeney’s, New Directions, and n+1. You’ll also spot Warby Parker's own title published by Hachette Books, 50 Ways to Lose Your Glasses.

RH Gallery at University Village

The new RH Gallery has opened at University Village and it is seriously breathtaking! I had the opportunity to attend the VIP Grand Opening party and a press tour before the official opening, and each room I wandered through was simply stunning. Whether you are contemplating a decor overhaul for your home for the new year or just love to wander through beautiful spaces, you are definitely going to want to add a visit to the new RH Gallery at University Village to your 2017 bucket list.

Kendra Scott Welcome Dinner at London Plane Seattle

Kendra Scott Welcome Dinner at London Plane Seattle

I was recently invited to a dinner at London Plane to welcome Kendra Scott to the Pacific Northwest! That's right, one of my favorite jewelry designers recently opened her first store in the #PNW and I am beyond excited! Kendra Scott's beautiful, handcrafted jewelry utilizes natural stones to create timeless pieces that are perfect for gifting or treating yourself! And this week is the official grand opening celebration and you're invited!

Kendra Scott's new store at Bellevue Square is seriously the stuff that dreams are made of. With a custom color bar option right in store, you can design your own jewelry from hundreds (thousands?!) of options including style, metal and stone. Or browse the new home goods line and matching jewelry sets (I am in love with the Elle earrings in tan banded agate, #wishlist!). There is also a bridal section, which I am definitely eyeing for my September wedding!

Founded on the principles of fashion, family and philanthropy, Kendra Scott operates out of Austin, Texas and was founded in 2002 by Kendra Scott only 3 months after her son was born with just $500! She began by selling her jewely door to door and quickly found success. Last year Kendra Scott donated $1M and 50,000 pieces of jewelry while working with over 1k local and national organizations! Talk about how doing good never goes out of style!

The Kendra Scott welcome dinner at London Plane was so delicious (London Plane is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle!) and we (myself alongside other Seattle women influencers) enjoyed learning a little bit about Kendra Scott, sipping bubbly, mingling and of course gazing and gaping at all the pretty Kendra Scott jewels! It was a truly lovely evening!

And now it's time for the official grand opening of the Kendra Scott store at Bellevue Collection and you're invited! All the details on the Grand Opening Party following the break, including how to RSVP. Hope to see you there!

xoxo

Warby Parker Grand Opening at University Village

Friday, August 19, 2016

Run, Don't Walk, Warby Parker is opening a second Seattle store this weekend at University Village! With a grand opening Saturday that includes treats from Six Strawberries Popsicles, an exclusive frame available only at U. Village, and a special gift with purchase; this is the perfect opportunity to grab some sunnies for those last summer days or a pair of eyeglasses for back to school. I recently had an opportunity to preview the new store before it's opening and immediately fell in love with the space.
