The Perfect Dress to Transition from Summer to Fall

With Autumn in the air I am all about finding dresses that transition easily from summer to fall. Think September weddings, farmer's market visits for fall harvest, and of course all the fashion shows and events of fashion month. When I saw the lace shift dress from Banana Republic on the rack I knew I had found the perfect dress to transition from the heat of summer to the cool days of fall.

The delicate details of the lace and fabric is just lovely and the fit extremely flattering. Classic, comfortable, and oh so pretty, this lace shift dress c/o Banana Republic is definitely a new fall favorite. I love the olive green color for Fall (it also comes in a gorgeous blue) and it's already been the perfect dress for both a fashion event in Seattle and a late August wedding in Michigan.

I absolutely love any dress with pockets, and yes, this dress has them! (thank you Banana Republic!) I would say it does run a bit large and I would recommend sizing down (it's available in both regular and petite!). In this post, I'm wearing a 2P and I could have gone with a 0P.

Also I can't begin to describe how in love I am with this Brown Italian Suede Accordion Bag c/o Banana Republic that I've styled with the lace shift dress. I have received so many inquiries on where I've purchased it and so many compliments on how classic of a bag it is. At a great price point of less than $200 for a beautiful bag, this is the perfect suede cross-body for Fall!
